We look forward to welcoming you to Circuit of The Americas for the 2016 MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas! For your convenience, we’ve compiled information below to help you get to COTA, navigate the venue and find all the exciting activities happening throughout the weekend.

Directions and Parking

How to get to Circuit of The Americas

Below are three routes from major highways and roads that lead to COTA. The physical address is: 9201 Circuit of The Americas Blvd, Austin, TX 78617.

If You Don’t Want to Drive, Take an Uber

Want to kick back and just enjoy race days? Then catch a safe ride with Uber. Enter promo code UBER2COTA for $20 off your first ride to COTA. You’ll have a dedicated Uber drop-off and pick-up location directly across the street from the Grand Plaza main entrance. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Parking

Please park in the parking lot designated by the parking pass you purchased. If you have not purchased parking, you may do so now here, or pay $20 cash each day at the lot.

Reminder: Motorcycle parking is free in Lot B and Lot D courtesy of GEICO Motorcycle. No parking pass required – just show up on your bike.

ADA Accessibility

ADA parking is available for those with a government issued ADA hangtag or license plate. If you require ADA assistance from the parking lot to your seat, please alert a staff member, such as a parking attendant. They will be able to radio an operator to dispatch a golf cart to your parking location. You can also call our ADA Cart Line directly for assistance at 512.655.6217.

AMA Pro Flat Track

NOTE: Entry to the AMA Pro Flat Track event requires a separate admission fee from MotoGP. To enjoy this new event purchase a ticket here. Tickets are available to the first 4,000 fans with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.

The AMA Pro Flat Track races will run less than a quarter of a mile away from the main entrance to COTA’s Circuit. Both the GNC1 and GNC2 classes will be showcased, introducing a new and exciting type of motorcycle racing to Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas fans after qualifying concludes on Saturday afternoon.

MotoGP Rider Autograph Sessions

All MotoGP autograph sessions will take place Friday, April 8, at the Austin360 Amphitheater will require a designated wristband for access and will have limited admission. Due to riders’ schedules, times are also subject to change without notice. The rider Q&A is open to all ticket holders with seating available in the amphitheater on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wristbands will be issued at the autograph session redemption booth located at the left entrance to the amphitheater in the Grand Plaza. The wristbands will be issued for a specific session and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday.

Note: Limit of one item to be autographed per person. No pictures allowed.

MotoAmerica Rider Autograph Session

All MotoAmerica rider autograph sessions will take place Saturday, April 9, in the MotoAmerica Paddock from 10:40 AM to 11:40 AM.

Food & Beverage Options

To view a full list of food and beverage options on-site and their locations, download the COTA App (iPhone download or Android download available).

Please note our vendors will ID for all alcoholic beverage purchases. If you plan to have a drink or two, please bring an acceptable form of ID with you. IDs accepted include: U.S. Driver’s License, U.S. Territory’s Driver License, U.S. State-Issued ID Card, Passport, Passport Card or U.S. Military ID. Alcohol sales will also cease 30 minutes prior to the end of the event each day.

Entertainment Activities Around COTA

Ducati Island

  • Location: Grand Plaza
  • Time: All Weekend

Check out Ducati Island in the heart of the Grand Plaza with interactive displays and live music to entertain guests throughout the weekend. Ducati Cycle Corral participants will park their bikes on Ducati Island for guests to admire.

Text to Ride With a Pro

  • Time: Friday – Saturday

On-site, fans can text “TexasLottery” to 86677 for a chance to win a ride around the track on Saturday after the races!

Motorcycle Demos

  • Location: Turn 19
  • Time: All Weekend

Find the latest and greatest motorcycles on display at Turn 19 including Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Victory, BMW Motorrad and Harley-Davidson. Swing by to go for a ride!

Fan Zone

  • Location: Support Paddock
  • Time: All Weekend

The Fan Zone features manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha, Victory, Kawasaki, KTM, Harley-Davidson and more with the newest in motorcycle apparel, memorabilia and art.

Swing by with your kids and let them race to the finish line at the Yamaha Kids’ Riding Area and take part in the action on the ‘Lil Tikes Strider Bike Course. Or, challenge your friends and family to a race climbing through a fun rock wall and giant inflatable obstacle course. Bubba Burger Cornhole will also be available for a more leisurely competitive match on custom cornhole sets.

Cycle Gear Market Place

This is your one-stop-shop for all things moto. The Cycle Gear Market Place features more vendors with a variety of products and services just for MotoGP fans.

Tower Visit

  • Location: Near Turn 18 behind Austin360 Amphitheater
  • Time: Friday – Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM

Take a trek up the 251ft tall Observation Tower to see the track from above.

Tickets for a Tower visit can be purchased at the base of the Tower. Trips up the Tower for adults are $20.00 per person, and tours for kids 5 and under, military and seniors are $15.00 per person.

COTA Gaming Lounge

Opening Ceremonies on Sunday

Fan Track Walk on Sunday

  • Location: the track
  • Time: Sunday from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Take to the track after the MotoGP and MotoAmerica races conclude on Sunday.

Access: via gates at Turn 1, Main Grandstand west, Main Grandstand east and Turn 19

Post-Race Concert by Franky Perez & The Truth

  • Location: Grand Plaza on Ducati Island
  • Time: Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Once the champagne has been sprayed and the track has been cleared after the races on Sunday, head over to Ducati Island in the Grand Plaza for a special concert on the Ducati Island stage. Franky Perez, who has been compared by peers and critics to Robert Plant and Otis Redding, has collaborated with many artists including Gavin Rossdale of Bush, Slash of Guns N’ Roses, Billy Morrison from The Cult and many more. Perez has also had multiple tracks featured on the FX television series “Sons of Anarchy,” and is a member of the Sons of Anarchy band, The Forest Rangers. 

The concert is open to all Sunday attendees.
